    In the study, Pro. Du surveyed students about what they did in their spare time throughout the country in 2014.Compared to a similar survey he did in 2013, Pro. Du found students watching TV nearly ten percent less ,but they play video games five percent more and surf the Internet eight percent more.Some experts believe Video games and Internet surfing have both been shown to increase intelligence while Pro. Du warned using computer too much may cause students to become nearsighted and fat.Though the study proved that students are reading more, Dr Wang thought that this is misleading because most students are not reading novels but Japanese cartoon books.So Dr. Wang suggested that schools should reduce the amount of homework for students so that they may have adequate time to read and exercises.

    Recently many universities have used beautiful girls or handsome boys to make advertisements to attract new students. Different people have different attitudes towards it. Some are for it while others are against it.
    While using the school beauty and a handsome boy in ads is an effective way to catch our eye, I don’t think it is an appropriate way for the university to attract new students. For one thing, senior school students won’t choose the university just because there is a beautiful girl or handsome boy on campus. For another, it may mislead the value of us students, causing some of us to pay too much attention to people’s outer appearance rather than their inner beauty.
    As for me, I will choose my ideal university based on its teaching staff, school culture and space for independent thought and creativity instead of the so called "campus goddess".

    A good friend has a lifelong positive influence on us. Therefore, I hope to make acquaintance of those who are learned, broad-minded and helpful in university.
