Smile at Life

   2'05''It was an extremely busy day, and I was so tired of my life that I was getting a little anger with myself and everyone around me. When returning home, I met my old friend Paul in the street. He looked happy and invited me to his home for a dinner. We had not seen each other for many years, so though I was tired I accepted his invitation. 
   As we entered the door of his house, Paul started singing, "I have a dream, a song to sing, to help you through every-thing."I felt surprised at his behaviour, but in a minute I understood. Two young girls walked to Paul and hugged him. They couldn’t walk steadily or spoke clearly, but their faces were full of smiles and sang the same song. 
   We talked about our family and work, and I learned from Paul that his daughters were born as "special children". They were mentally changed. Their mother died yeas ago. Paul was both mother and father to his beautiful daughters. But he said he was lucky that the little angels were together with him. 
   That night, we talked a lot, and his happy smiles made my anger and tiredness fade*. I forgot how many times I com-plained about my life and my work. But Paul’s life was an inspiration to me. The man smiled at his life and treated any trouble as a gift of life. It was Paul who taught me to deal with life cheerfully and move on.
