此完形填空改编自以上美文:A Christmas emergency
It was unusually quiet in the emergency room on December 25.I didn't think there would be any 36 , sighing about having to work on Christmas.Just then five bodies _37 at my desk, a pale woman and four children.

把这个简单的故事编成完形填空题,结果连优秀的学生都做得很糟糕。这说明,同学们还是缺乏上下文罗辑和语言表达能力。
而且,从中我们还很受到启发:语言的学习要“悟”,要在语境中体会。
二、勤翻词典,留心生活
很多同学不会记单词,把记单词当作非常苦恼的事情。其实记单词的方法是多种多样的。同学们首先要明白,记单词要达到两个目标:一是量,二是准确的含义。
要同时达到这两个目标,最好的办法就是勤翻词典。最好是买一本英汉双解的朗文高级词典或牛津高阶词典。一次投资,终身受益,性价比太高了!翻词典的时候,要看英文释义,要多看几个意思,注意词性。不翻词典,光看课本上的汉语注释是不够的。比如:strength和force,汉语意思都是:“力气”,可是英语含义不一样。try to do 和manage,意思都是“尽力做”,表达的含义也不一样。
经常翻翻词典,你会发现,不必用纸笔,不必反复诵读,很多单词竟然自然而然地留在了脑海中!这其实就是英语语感。
留意生活中的英语也能让你记到单词。transport,看似难记,可是当你到交通银行去的时候,抬头就能望见这个单词,是不是很快乐?
一般的商品现在都有英语说明书(Instructions),假如你一边使用着该商品,一边忽然发现说明书的翻译里有错误,是不是很有成就感?家里买了个新电子产品,尽管是英文操作说明,可是你能懂,岂不快哉?!
总之,学习英语要多读,多听,多说,多记。一天不学英语,要有“三月不知肉味”的感觉,英语学习自然是a piece of cake.
